Qingshuihe town

Qingshuihe town is the largest town in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, belonging to Huocheng County, Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a total area of 366 square kilometers and a total population of 55226 (2017). It has four communities and 15 village committees. Qingshuihe town is located at the intersection of 312 National Highway and 218 national highway, 28 kilometers away from Horgos port. It is the location of zhande City, one of the nine famous cities under the jurisdiction of Yili general mansion. Historically, it used to be the North Road fortress of the ancient Silk Road, one of the construction demonstration towns of 500 small towns in China and 20 in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the development of small towns relying on science and technology in Xinjiang, the National East West Economic Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the national Spark small town demonstration town and the new rural construction demonstration town, and the window of Xinjiang's opening to the outside world.

Qingshuihe town was established in 1984 under the jurisdiction of Huocheng county;

On May 4, 1992, the people's Government of Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture approved the establishment of Qingshuihe economic and Technological Development Zone;

In October 2000, it was upgraded to a regional development zone of Xinjiang Autonomous Region;

In 2007, Qingshuihe economic and Technological Development Zone was renamed "Huocheng Economic Development Zone" after being approved by three national ministries and commissions;

On September 30, 2011, it was listed as the national Horgos Economic Development Zone (8 square kilometers of Qingshuihe supporting industrial park) by the State Council and built into a regional business center

Basic introduction

Zhande city (now Qingshuihe Town, Huocheng County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) was changed from Chahanwusu to zhande city in the 34th year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty, which is one of the "nine cities of Ili".

Qingshuihe town is a fork in the road, West to Horgos port, southeast to Yining City, northeast to Urumqi. Commonly known as qingshuihezi, it is a frontier town in Yili, Xinjiang. Local people always like to call her Qingshui.

To the north is the towering West Tianshan. A national highway 312 meanders from guoguogou, and it is divided into two streams here: one is westward to Huoerguosi port, the terminal point of national highway 312, where is still the Horgos river with undulating mountain water; the other is southward to Yining City, the capital of Ili, which is the famous Valley of Ili. As a result, qingshuihezi is a town created by a fork in the road and a strategic place famous for its transportation hub.

Apple with beautiful shape and sweet juice, almond with black and bright melon seeds are famous products here for a long time. "Fine wool" and "Yili horse" are famous both at home and abroad. It is close to Daxigou Township and produces unique wild sour plum. As for the precious medicinal materials, there are too many.
