Xinglin Lake Park

Xinglin Lake Park is one of the large open parks in Jiamusi city. It is adjacent to medical college in the north, Zhanqian road in the south, Xinglin road in the East and Xinglin bridge in Changqing Road in the west, covering an area of 18 hectares.

Architectural history

The park was built in 1958, when the CPC Jiamusi Municipal Committee and government called on the people of the whole city to control lakes and build mountains

Build artificial parks. The people of the whole city took part in voluntary labor, such as dredging lakes, building mountains, planting trees, removing soil and filling rocks. After two years of construction, the park has formed mountains and water surface. By 1963, the construction of the park, surrounded by mountains and water, trees, bridges and pavilions had been basically completed.

It was destroyed during the cultural revolution. In 1979, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government issued a new call for the construction of Xinglin Lake Park, restored the infrastructure, built iron fence walls, East, South and north gates, built slope protection, paved asphalt pavement, new bridges, pavilions and rockery, etc.; in 1989, the park was transformed into a "children's Park". In 2004, in order to upgrade the park, build a leisure park, and create a leisure environment for the general public, the original "children's Park" was demolished and green, and nearly 10 million yuan was invested in the construction of Xinglin Lake Park, which was renamed Xinglin Lake Park in August 2004.

In spring, apricot flowers are full of fragrance. In summer, the grass is green and the island language is fragrant. In autumn, the leaves are like blankets. The garden is full of "golden armour". In winter, the snow is white and the scenery of northern China is fully displayed. Spring, summer, autumn and winter make up the beautiful scenery of the park. Especially prominent is the park "three mountains and one water". The three mountains are Huanhu Island, drifting island and Changba Island, and one water is Xinglin lake, which covers an area of 3.23 hectares. The park is built in the middle and upper reaches of Xinglin River, and the river passes through the lake, so it is named Xinglin lake. The park is connected by three mountains and surrounded by water. The water is rippling with green waves. A few boats are dotted in it. The waterfall of the drifting Island flows straight down. The willow trees around the lake island and Changba Island hang down to the bank, forming a unique landscape of the park. Enter the door, it is Chairman Mao.

In addition, the park's buildings with different styles add a lot of landscape to the park. Luoguo bridge, named for its shape, was built in 1922 and rebuilt in 1984. There are rainbow bridge, one hole bridge, Sancha sedan, five hole bridge and so on. There are also pavilions and long corridors named after various units, which provide leisure and entertainment places for the common people.

Green covers the whole park. The park with green as the main body has 62192.65 square meters of lawn, 379.2 meters of hedgerow, 5449 trees and shrubs. On the basis of the original lotus pond, a large lotus pond with an area of more than 3000 square meters has been expanded. There are 5500 aquatic plants, such as lotus, water lily, pingpengcao and aquatic meirenjiao. In summer and autumn, lotus blooms all over the pond.
