Perennial herbs, 60-100 cm high. The leaf is 8-18 cm long, lobules ovate or obovate, 0.8-2 cm long and 0.5-1.5 cm wide, usually 3-lobed, lobes entire or 2-3-toothed; petiole base with short sheath; stipules membranous, lacerated. Panicle slightly corymbose, 2-forked branches, spreading branches; flowers small, sepals 4, yellowish green, narrowly ovate; without petals; stamens numerous; carpels 1-5, stigmas triangular, winged. Achene nearly fusiform, straight or slightly curved, 4-6 mm long, 8 longitudinal ribs.

In grassland, field edge, sand and sand dune. Distribution of northeast and Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi and other places.
