Guangdong Art Museum

Guangdong Art Museum is a contemporary art museum planned and constructed according to the goal of modernization and multi-function. It is a non-profit national cultural institution serving the society and social development and opening to the public. It has six functions: collection, research, exhibition, education, communication and service. With a construction area of more than 20000 square meters, the museum has 13 exhibition and outdoor sculpture exhibition areas, which can hold large-scale exhibitions and exhibitions of different themes at the same time or separately; a modern multi-functional academic hall with 300 seats and simultaneous interpretation of two channels, which can be used for international academic exchanges and film and television broadcasting; and a large area of educational functional areas and supporting comprehensive service facilities

Xinghai Concert Hall

Xinghai Concert Hall is located in Ersha Island, Guangzhou, with 1500 seat symphony hall and 460 seat chamber hall. Xinghai Concert Hall has Guangdong Art Museum in the East and Guangdong Overseas Chinese Museum in the north, forming a distinctive cultural landscape. On the east side of the main body of the concert hall is the cultural square, which is composed of Xian Xinghai's bronze statue, music fountain and water music stage. It is a good place for holding Mass square concerts and citizens to rest and walk. In the center of the North Square is a trapezoidal platform engraved with green dragon and white tiger, implying the formation of Han culture. The ground of the South Square is built into a huge arc pattern, like sails and tight fishing nets. The flickering lights give the artistic conception of "fishing songs sing late". Symphony Concert Hall: Symphony Concert Hall is the main body of Xinghai Concert Hall. It is the largest pure natural sound Concert Hall in China at present. Its acoustic index is designed according to the sound quality parameters of the "top" Concert Hall in the world and combined with the scale of the hall. The auditorium is in the shape of Valley terraces, with 1500 seats in total, including Hall seats, box seats, balcony seats and gallery seats. Each seat is similar to dance hall The stage has different angles, but the received audio is basically uniform, and the reverberation time is 1.8 seconds; the hall span is 80 meters, and there are more than 40 FRP tuners hanging on the dome of the hall; the stage is equipped with the largest pipe organ from China and even Asia introduced from the Czech Republic; the pipe organ weighs 40 tons, 14 meters wide, 9 meters high and 5 meters deep, which is equivalent to the height of a three story building! It has nearly 7000 pipes, both metal and wooden; the largest one can be drilled by an adult; the smallest one is smaller than chopsticks.
