Jiegao port

Jiegao port is a state-level border trade port. It is one of the busiest areas of China's land trade channel with Myanmar. Opposite the country gate is Mujie Town, Myanmar. Jiegao port is divided into three magnificent buildings, which are built according to the border, with the main gate in the middle, the cargo passage on the right and the personnel passage on the left. There is a duty-free shop next to the main country gate. Passengers can buy imported goods according to the regulations.

Jiegao port

Jiegao port is 4 kilometers southeast of Ruili City and on the East Bank of Ruili River. It covers an area of 1.92 square kilometers. It is closely connected with Mujie town in Myanmar. It is the only village and town across the river in Ruili City. It is directly connected with Myanmar by land and is called "Enclave" in history. In the past, only bamboo rafts and wooden boats were used to cross the river. In 1989, Jiegao bridge was built to connect the two sides of the river.

In 1991, with the approval of the provincial government, Jiegao border trade and economic zone was established. At the No. 81-82 boundary pillar of China, China and Myanmar jointly built a broad Sino Myanmar business street. Rows of brand-new ethnic stores and goods sheds are full of a wide range of daily necessities and ethnic handicrafts, making people dazzled and giving people the feeling of thousands of merchants gathering.

Yunnan border trade import and export 50% of the total goods are imported and exported from here, as a national border trade port.
