Daxueshan Forest Park is also called Daxueshan nature reserve. It is located in the east of Yongde County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, with a total area of 17541 hectares. The main peak is 3504.2 meters above sea level, and the forest coverage rate is 93.08%. It is listed as a national nature reserve.

The main peak is 3504.2 meters above sea level, and the forest coverage rate is 93.08%. It is listed as a national nature reserve. In the mysterious, quiet and natural Daxueshan nature reserve of Yongde County, the scenery is different in four seasons. Winter and spring snow forest, silver bundle wrapped, a school of northern scenery.

Wanzhangyan waterfall originates from Nanting River in the southeast of xiansupingzhang, the main peak of Daxueshan mountain. It flows between manlai village and Tuanshan village in Daxueshan township. The river flows straight down from the cliff, forming a waterfall 10 meters wide and 60 meters long, which seems to fall from the sky. Majestic and spectacular, the waterfall is born with a pool, and its water turns around, then overflows and goes straight to the Nanting river. It is the longest and largest natural water in our county.

In the forest, there are 13 kinds of national key protected plants represented by Taxus yunnanensis, Magnolia leiocarpus, Alsophila spinulosa, Elaeagnus angustifolia, and water green trees, and 59 kinds of national key protected wild animals represented by porpoise deer, black crested gibbon (West Yunnan subspecies), and Green Peacock. The unique green scenic spot of Daxueshan is a green treasure land for tourists and a good place for scientific exploration.

Traffic information

Take the Taichung railway to Taichung Station, then take Fengyuan passenger transport (to Dongshi direction) to Dongshi station, and then take Fengyuan passenger transport (to Daxueshan Forest Recreation Area) to Daxueshan station.
