Benxi Water Cave Scenic Spot

Benxi Water Cave Scenic Area is the world's longest underground water filled karst cave, which is deep and wide. It was opened to the outside world in 1983. In 1994, it was approved as a national key scenic spot by the State Council of the people's Republic of China. In 1997, it was accepted as the first member of Asia by the International Association of tourist caves. In March 2002, it was rated as a 5A scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. Since its official opening to the outside world, Benxi Water Cave has received more than 8 million Chinese and foreign tourists from 120 countries and regions, including heads of state and government of 40 countries. It is known as "a treasure in the north", "a wonder in the world", "first-class in Asia" and "rare in the world".

Traffic information: 1. Bus routes:

1. Transfer bus 16 from the railway station to Benxi long passenger station, then take the bus from Benxi to Xiaoshi, and get off at Benxi Shuidong scenic spot.

2. Benxi City is 50km away from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. Shendan Expressway passes through Benxi City. There are entrances and exits in Xiaobao, Shiqiaozi, bianniu and Xinlitun of Benxi City, of which Xiaobao is the main entrance and exit of Benxi City.

3. Shenyang Benxi (every day), Shuidong scenic spot is located in Benxi Manchu Autonomous County in the southeast of Benxi City, 7 km away from the small town railway station, which is mainly responsible for the passenger and freight business from Benxi to tianshifu town (Xitian line).

4. Shenyang Benxi (62 km), the tourist transportation from the city to Benxi county is mainly long-distance bus. There are bus stations in Shuidong scenic area, and special buses from Benxi county to Shenyang, Fushun and other cities through Shuidong scenic area.
