Longyin Temple (Taiwan)

Mt. Ali stretches and overlaps on three sides. The bazhang river flows southward and westward. In the natural environment, it creates a scenic spot close to mountains and rivers. Longyin temple is located in Chakou village, Fanlu Township, Jiayi county. The construction of the temple started in 1980. It covers an area of three hectares and sits east to west. Master Li Xiuyuan, who is worshipped in the temple, is Zen master Jigong. Because he was born five times to save the world, he is also known as Wugong Bodhisattva. The dragon pillars, stone blocks and stone lions in the temple are all vividly carved.

In front of Longyin temple, there is a suspension bridge across bazhang River, which is called Dijiu bridge. On the left back mountain of Longyin temple, there is a Tianchang bridge, which is a necessary suspension bridge for people to go up and down the mountain. In the past, it was the gateway for Aboriginal people to go in and out. The two bridges were built between the 12th year of Zhaohe (1937) and are collectively known as the "everlasting bridge".
