Gouweizhang, 1680 meters above sea level, is the fourth highest peak in Guangdong Province. It is located in Daqiao Town, Ruyuan County, Shaoguan. Highlights: the mountain rises from the ground with magnificent shape and primitive magnificence. It is a rare stone mountain in Guangdong Province. The strange peaks and rocks on the mountain have different shapes, especially the sea of clouds, Buddha light and ice hanging. In addition, the villages at the foot of the mountain are very simple.

Gouweizhang route includes a number of rock climbing like Qingyun Mountain, river tracing like boat bottom and top, and hiking like Yulong River. It is an outdoor paradise. On its way up the mountain, there are three or five sections of steep side roads with a length of about 10 meters, several close to the cliff with a length of two or three meters, several stone walls with a height of three meters up and down, and a stone wall with a slope of more than 10 meters and a slope of 60-70 degrees. Focus on the whole process, do not take off, slip, it is recommended not to walk this line in rainy days; there is basically no tree shade, need sunscreen.

Weizhang crossing, though not the most difficult, not the most dangerous, not the most beautiful scenery, is also difficult, dangerous, and full of clouds. The most important thing is to go through all kinds of terrain (grassland, cliff, mountain forest, stream, etc.) and all kinds of climate (gale, shower, heavy rain, fog, cloudy day, sunny day, etc.), which is really an unforgettable mountain climbing experience.

scheduling

Set the meeting time and place, drive to gouweizhang, and camp at shaiyu farm of Changshanzi village at the foot of gouweizhang mountain;

7: Get up at 30 o'clock breakfast, breakfast is basically noodles with ham sausage and egg bread and so on.

8: Before 9:00, pack up the equipment, clean the rice, vegetables and pots that need to be cooked, and replenish enough drinking water. Each person should prepare 3 liters of drinking water.

8: We started climbing at 20. Starting from Changshanzi village, it takes about 7-8 hours to reach the summit, and the time is about 4:30 p.m.

After climbing to the top, there is a camp in the valley near the peak. Camp, collect firewood, prepare dinner, have a picnic, watch the setting sun and sunset, enjoy the scenery of broken rocks on the top of the mountain, watch the stars all over the sky at night (remember to take a thick coat), burn bonfires, tell ghost stories, play games, and talk about your life plan even if you can't sleep!

The next morning, I got up at about 6 o'clock and opened the tent to watch the sunrise. If God was kind to me, I could see the sea of clouds. Lazy people can also sleep until more than 7 o'clock, or even wake up naturally (rest assured, someone will wake you up with a song). After breakfast, you can take photos at the top of the mountain freely!

At about 8:30, the camp began to withdraw, and then moved forward to cross the mountain. Also walk along the ridge, and a few minutes later you will see the boundary steles of the three towns (Daqiao, Dongping and Bibei). The road of the ridge is very clear. There is no need to find the way. If you continue to walk, you will cross a hill which is almost as high as gouweizhang, and the thatched downhill path on the right side of the ridge saddle. After crossing in the mountains or in the jungle, the road is also looming. However, there is no chance to get lost, because you can see the village below all the way, so you can locate it. It took five hours to get to Zhaojia village at the foot of the mountain. It takes more than an hour to walk from Zhaojia village to Changshanzi village. Arrive at Changshanzi village at about 4 p.m. and get on the bus. Go out to Daqiao town to find a restaurant for dinner, and then go back to Guangzhou to scatter insects and birds.

Equipment requirements

Collective equipment (please bring some): snake medicine, snake venom evacuator, map, GPS, camp lamp, walkie talkie (409.85mhz).

Personal equipment: charging bag, backpack, backpack cover, tent, 0-10 degree sleeping bag, damp proof mat, mountaineering shoes (necessary for mountain climbing team, otherwise dissuade), headlamp (necessary, otherwise dissuade), spare battery, knife, tableware, whistle, rainproof articles, personal medicine, climbing stick, gloves, replacement clothes.

Personal medicine: Fengyoujing, Dieda, Zhixue paste, personal special medicine, etc.

It may rain. It is recommended to waterproof all luggage.
