Changshanwei (the intersection of Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea)

The most meaningful landscape of Linhai park is the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea - changshanwei. As the name suggests, it is the tail of Changdao, the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea.

As you can see, a jade beach on the coast crosses into the Dengzhou Strait, and a snow wave in the sea runs straight to the direction of Penglai Pavilion. The shore part is composed of Zhuji pebbles, which are broad and sharp in shape, curved and elegant, and natural. The snow waves in the sea divide the sea into two worlds. The most amazing thing is that the waves here are surging all the year round. The waves elsewhere are as flat as a mirror, but the torrent here looks like a sword. From a distance, it looks like a dragon's tail playing in the water, and it looks like a sand gull dancing. Some people say it's a fight between the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, while others say it's a "close contact" between the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea.

In 1999, Zhang Siqing, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), came to Linhai to see this strange landscape and happily wrote the four words "flying snow on Yutan". Stepping into the end of Changshan mountain, we are "stepping on two seas with one foot, listening to two waves with two ears". We really have a kind of lofty and exclusive feeling.
