Hai Rui Temple

Hai Rui shrine is the essence of Longshan island. Hai Rui temple was built by the people of Chun'an to commemorate Hai Rui's hard work in Chun'an. In 1562, when Hai Rui left Chun'an after his term of office, the people of Chun'an set up "going to think stele" and built haigongsheng temple to commemorate. The original Hai Rui temple has been submerged at the bottom of Qiandao Lake. Now the Hai Rui temple on Longshan island was rebuilt in 1986. The purpose of rebuilding Hai Rui temple is to offer the world the long cherished wish of Hai Gong. In memory of Hai Rui's modest and clean achievements, we can remember the past, warn the world, educate people and benefit the people. Houhai Rui ancestral hall has been rebuilt into Hai Rui memorial hall, which is now a provincial anti-corruption culture education base to carry forward Hai Rui's honest and upright culture. There are four striking features when visiting the Hai Rui ancestral hall: first, the architecture of the ancestral hall, especially the wood carving, brick carving and stone carving (collectively referred to as the "Three Sculptures"), is marvelous. Second, there are many inscriptions in the corridor of the hall, especially the "Shouzi stele" written by Hai Rui himself. The font is elegant and elegant, and the content is rich, which makes people stop to meditate. Thirdly, the statues of Hai Rui, the wood carvings and murals on both sides of the temple, and the poems and couplets on the porch pillars all show Hai Rui's upright and upright demeanor in his life. It is still of practical significance to use the ancient to live in the present. The fourth is the garden sketch in the courtyard, with the theme of "high wind" and "Bright Festival", with a transparent and broad-minded style, a well arranged layout, and dense flowers and trees.
