Qingdao Music Square

Qingdao Music Square is located on the Bank of Fushan Bay, adjacent to the May 4th Square in the East and children's activity center in the north, covering an area of 36000 square meters. It was officially opened on September 18, 1999.

It is a cultural leisure square with music as the theme, and also the largest music square in China.

Qingdao music square has five functional areas: tree array area, eccentric square and soft sculpture area, oval square area, music view platform and underground shopping mall.

The five functional areas of music square are reasonably distributed in different forms to form the fan-shaped plane structure of the square. Looking down from a height, it is like a beautiful scallop inlaid on the coast.

In the middle of Qingdao Music Square is an eccentric square, which is composed of two circles with different diameters. In the center of the circle, there is a soft sculpture, music sail, which is 20 meters high. It is a milky white cone, divided into two parts, covering an area of 500 square meters. Sculpture, like a sail full of wind during the day, is tall and dynamic. At night, with the change of lighting color, it presents different visual effects and gives people rich imagination space. Under the sail, there is a stone imitation digital piano, silver wave, covering an area of 36 square meters. It is a sculpture integrating science and art. It has strong musical expression and can be played and entertained by tourists. Beautiful piano melody can be heard in a 2 square kilometer area. The piano has been declared the Guinness Book of records as "the largest digital piano in the world".
