Changling is the mausoleum of Emperor Xiaowen tuobahong, located in the southeast of Gongzhuang village in the northern suburb of Luoyang City. Changling is a round tomb with a height of about 35 meters and a circumference of about 190 meters.
In 1946, in a small tomb at the east end of Guanzhuang village, the grave robbers stole a epitaph, which belonged to the Empress Dowager Gao of Wenzhao. According to the epitaph, Gan was buried on the right side of Gaozu's Changling. The location is consistent with the records in the literature. It can be seen that this tomb is the mausoleum of Emperor Xiaowen.
Before 1949, a large number of epitaphs of the yuan family appeared around the Changling mausoleum. There are clear records of the so-called accompanying and attached epitaphs, including yuanxuan, yuanzuan and Yuanling. After the death of emperor Tuoba Hongyou, empress Xiaowen was also buried in Changling.
