Rilong town

Rilong town is a township under the jurisdiction of Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located in the southeast of Xiaojin County, 56 kilometers away from the county seat. It borders Wolong Nature Reserve in the East, Zagunao in Lixian County in the north, Fengtongzhai Nature Reserve in Baoxing County in Ya'an area in the south, and Dawei Township, the meeting place of the first and fourth front armies of the Red Army in the long march in the West. It covers a total area of 480 km, inhabited by Tibetan, Han, Hui and other ethnic groups. Its agricultural products are mainly rapeseed, known as "plateau Oilfield".

In 1952, it set up rilong Township, changed its name to commune in 1959, changed its name to Hongqi commune in 1966, and restored rilong Township in 1978. It borders Wolong Nature Reserve in the East, Zagunao in Lixian County in the north, Fengtongzhai Nature Reserve in Baoxing County in Ya'an area in the south, and Dawei Township, the meeting place of the first and fourth front armies of the Red Army in the long march in the West. With a total area of 480 km, it governs five village committees, including Jinfeng, Changping, shuangdiao, Shuangqiao and Shaba, 12 villager groups, 2893 Tibetan, Han, Hui and other ethnic groups, and more than 12000 community service personnel. The scenic spot of Siguniang mountain, with four laurels of "national scenic spot, National Nature Reserve, national 4A scenic spot and World Natural Heritage Site", is also located in the territory. The main agricultural product is rapeseed, known as "plateau Oilfield". On November 19, 2013, according to the administrative measures of place names in Sichuan Province, the Sichuan provincial government renamed "rilong town" as "Siguniangshan town". After the name change, the size of Siguniangshan town remains unchanged, the administrative region and jurisdiction are the same as before, and the subordinate relationship is still under the jurisdiction of Xiaojin county.
