Tangbo Art Museum, founded in 2000, is a museum displaying Shaanxi folk art and ancient Chinese painting art. Shaanxi folk arts on display include Huxian peasant paintings, Huaxian shadow puppets, Northern Shaanxi paper cutting, Fengxiang Shehuo Mashao facial makeup, Fengxiang clay sculpture and Wood New Year pictures. Based on the chronology of Chinese history, ancient Chinese paintings display representative paintings of prehistoric, Warring States and Han Dynasties, Wei, Jin, southern and Northern Dynasties, Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Social services

Tangbo art museum holds exhibitions of works of contemporary powerful painters, teachers and students of fine arts colleges, and lectures on calligraphy and painting for audiences who love traditional Chinese art.
