Yao guanding

There are two yaoguanding in the North Tianmen gate of Mount Tai: the East yaoguanding and the West yaoguanding. It is said that Emperor Yao came here in ancient times to watch the sunrise at the top of the East Yao temple and the sunset at the top of the West Yao temple.

On the top of Yaoguan, you can see from afar. The top is a purple sky, and the sun is still sleeping. When the sun does not appear on the horizon, look around, a silver gray sky, southwest and North three blue belt, neatly inlaid in the east outside the earth, only the East is the place where the sun rises, and each time the place is not fixed. Looking to the East, the mountains in front of them are low, trying to hold up their heads and shoulders high. It seems that they are still at the foot of Mount Tai's yaoguanding. White clouds, green trees, gray rocks, red glow, blue belt in the distance, and gray sky before dawn. I remember Du Fu's famous saying, "when you will be on top of the mountain, you can see all the mountains.".

When the sun is setting in the west, I climb up to the top of Xiyao temple and look to the West. Layers of red clouds gather towards the setting sun in turn. The red sun burns all day and seems to be tired. It is slightly inferior to the brilliance of sunrise, but it does not reduce its brilliance. That's because there is still a piece of light on the earth, which sets off the setting sun and makes the red clouds particularly dazzling. When the setting sun gradually sinks to the west mountain, the earth appears dim, and the sky suddenly becomes overcast, as if to announce the end of the day in an instant.
