Changshu Art Museum (Pang xunqui Art Museum) is based on the foundation of "Pang xunqui Art Museum, China's first art museum named after an artist" opened in June 1991, the history of Changshu, the national famous historical and cultural city, Huang Gongwang, one of the "four masters of Yuan Dynasty", Wang shigu, one of the "four kings of Qing Dynasty", and his "Yushan painting school" in Changshu for 300 years It was listed as a key project of Changshu Municipal People's government's "Tenth Five Year Plan" for cultural development and opened in October 2005.

It is an art museum with functions of collection and storage, display, research and exchange, public education and public service. Changshu Art Museum has a total construction area of nearly 10000 square meters. Among them, Pang xunqui art museum is a two-story building, with a building area of nearly 1000 square meters, with a hall and two exhibition halls; Changshu Art Museum, phase I in 2005, has 5200 square meters, with five exhibition halls in the exhibition area, a VIP Hall, art department and gallery in the leisure area, a calligraphy and painting art training classroom and a multi-functional academic lecture hall in the public education service area; in 2009, phase II was expanded to build a new exhibition hall of 3300 square meters in the East 5 exhibition halls and perfect public education service area.

Standing at the gate of Changshu Institute of technology, Pang xunqui Art Museum has a unique style, white appearance, huge paraboloid structure of "eight" shape, beautiful shape and unique characteristics of Arts and crafts, which symbolizes Pang xunqui's pursuit of "exploration, exploration and re exploration". The famous artist Chen Shuliang wrote the name of the museum, and the famous sculptor Liu Kaiqu created the bust of Han Baiyu Pang xunki, which was placed in the 2000 square meters of flowers and plants in the square in front of the art museum.

Changshu art museum is located in the downtown area bordering Changshu ancient city and Yushan. The main building is built around the 400 year old red bean trees. The appearance of the building is straight and handsome, with beige green and gray tone, highlighting the characteristics of Jiangnan Water Town. The hall, sculpture, corridor, pool, green space and the ancient trees complement each other, adding beautiful scenery to the audience. Shen Peng, a famous calligrapher, wrote the title of the museum.

Changshu Art Museum and Pang xunqui art museum have a set of team management. The museum collects and displays nearly 500 paintings, watercolors, line drawings, arts and crafts of Pang xunqui in various periods, and more than 700 masterpieces of famous calligraphers and painters, such as Ding Shaoguang, Liu Haisu, Qi Baishi, Yang Taiyang, Wu Guanzhong, Qian Yankang, Lu Yifei In the condition of complete, advanced equipment, complete security and sound system, these artworks will be handed down forever.
