Zhoujing Bridge

Zhoujing bridge is located in haonongkou, Dongmen street, Chengxiang Town, Taicang City, across zhihetang. It was built in the first year of yuanzhishun (1330), formerly known as Haimen first bridge, also known as nanzhoujing bridge. It is a three hole stone arch bridge, 17.26 meters long, 4.7 meters wide and 5.18 meters high. The North hole is cold and silted, and the bridge body is built of bluestone.

The arch stone is engraved with the name list of bridge builders and the time of building the bridge. The stone in the middle of the arch stone is engraved with five characters of "the first bridge in Haimen". The four stones and the stone railings on both sides of the bridge are engraved with various patterns. A 3-meter-long Longmen stone in the middle of the bridge deck is engraved with eight trigrams. The bridge has been built for more than 650 years and is still in good condition.
