Taohua Lake

Taohua Lake in Qingxin County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province is located in the original Taoyuan Town (now merged into Jintan Town), formerly known as longxudai reservoir. After the tourism development, Taohua lake was renamed as Taohua lake because of the wide variety of peach flowers around. It is about 1 km away from yanziyan. Taohua lake is a vast lake with a 20 km long coastline. The average depth of the reservoir is about 37 meters, and the deepest is more than 85 meters. The lake water is as clear as a mirror, and there are many peaks around. It is a typical karst landform, with beautiful lakes and mountains, which is as desirable as Guilin. Taohua lake, located in Taojiang County, Hunan Province, is the source of Taohua River, with an area of more than ten thousand mu and a water storage capacity of 70 million cubic meters. It is a shining pearl of Taohua River Forest Park. Taohua Lake in the middle reaches of Majia River, Maojian District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, is 15 kilometers away from the urban area. It is famous for the peach blossom on the lakeshore.

The original name is longxudai reservoir. Because the dam of the reservoir is over 100 meters high and the reservoir is full of heavy rain, the water flows out from the flood discharge outlet. If the Dragon whisker is hanging in the air, it gets its name. After the development and planting of full peach blossom, it is renamed Taohua lake, and the scenic spot is called Xanadu scenic spot. There are also dozens of green hills in Taohua lake, some of which have karst caves. The lake water leads to the cave, from which you can take a boat to visit.

Every morning and dusk, the peach blossom lake is full of fog and beautiful scenery. Rain and fog are more like fairyland on earth. In recent years, Qingyuan City has been designated as one of the four residential areas.
