The former site of Li Zongren residence is located at No. 30, fuhougang, Gulou District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, China (formerly No. 68). It is now the first kindergarten of Jiangsu Province. Built in July 1934, the building was originally owned by Yao Cong, deputy director of the general office of the Military Commission of the national government and director of the capital police department. Zhu De and Ye Jianying, representatives of the CPC Central Committee and the Red Army who came to Nanjing in August 1937 to attend the National Defense Conference, once stayed here. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he successively rented the Czech embassy and the inspirational society. From 1947 to 1949, he lived in Li Zongren and his entourage. During this period, Li Zongren successively served as vice president and acting president of the national government.

The building is located in the north and south, with a courtyard in front. The main building is a three story building with western style attic and basement. In the north, the corridor connects the two bungalows behind the building, including a gatehouse, with a total of 22 rooms. The main building is of brick concrete structure, with a short veranda at the south entrance and a balcony on the second floor.
