Bashan guerrilla Memorial

Located in tieluba village, seven kilometers north of Taoyuan Town, Nanjiang County, Sichuan Province, Bashan guerrilla memorial hall was announced by Bazhong Municipal People's government as a cultural relic protection unit of "important modern historical sites" in December 2003. It is an important tourist attraction of Guangwu mountain.

Cultural relics

Bashan guerrillas is a regular armed force left behind in the Sichuan Shaanxi revolutionary base, which was formed by the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army before crossing the Jialing River to the West. From February 1935 to the spring of 1940, under the leadership of Liu Zicai and Zhao MingEn, the team was active in the vast forest with Taoyuan in Nanjiang County as the center, fighting for five years under extremely difficult conditions.

The Bashan guerrilla memorial hall is composed of seven parts: Lijin Bureau site, square, theme sculpture, former site of Bashan guerrilla headquarters, historical relics exhibition hall, Tomb of martyr Zhao MingEn of Bashan guerrilla, and green belt, covering a total area of more than 7300 square meters. Among them, the main building "the former site of Bashan guerrilla headquarters" is more than 230 square meters, which is designed to display two themes of "the original appearance of the headquarters" and "the old appearance of the residents", with 118 cultural relics on display; the historical relics exhibition room is more than 110 square meters, which is designed to display three themes of "the main leaders and activity area of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army", "the fighting history and main leaders of Bashan guerrillas" and "the new appearance of Taoyuan" 83 pieces of cultural relics and materials have been unearthed. The theme sculpture "loyal soul" stands in the center of the square with an area of more than 2100 square meters. To the east of the restored "Tomb of martyr Zhao Ming'en", a 4200 square meter green belt embraces the Bashan guerrilla Memorial.
