Beautiful mountain and lake, located four kilometers north of Mengshan County, is a new tourist area of Mengshan. Chashan reservoir, 14 km deep, is a comprehensive alpine lake integrating farmland irrigation, power generation and sightseeing. On both sides of the majestic dam of chashankou reservoir, there are two peaks in the shape of male lions, facing each other from afar. Since ancient times, this scene has been known as "double lions blocking the mouth". On both sides of the Strait, there are many strange peaks, green mountains in the water, boating on the lake, and people in the middle of a picture. You can see the stone man mountain, which is similar to the image of ancient women, as well as a series of scenic spots such as "white horse drinking spring", "Golden Rooster crowing on the bank", "stone drum floating star".

The beautiful scenery of mountain and lake is one of the eight natural landscapes in Mengshan county. In 1975, a dam was built at chashanchongkou near Changping Yao nationality township, which turned chashanchong into a high gorge lake with thousands of hectares of green waves. The lake area is luxuriant in vegetation, fragrant with birds and flowers, sparkling in the lake, fish flying at the bottom, and beautiful scenery. It is a good place for summer tourism.
