Duiyun cave

Duiyun cave is located on the mound of shangniu village, Jiwang mountain, 25 kilometers west of Xiaxian County, with gullies nearly 100 meters deep on both sides. Snake tiger, stone Jian two streams around, stream water flowing into the East Sushui river. Because of the cumulus cloud around the hillock after the rain, the fog lasts forever, and the entrance of the cave is covered with clouds, it is called "duiyun cave". Because it looks like the Potala Palace in Tibet, duiyun cave is also called "little potala palace". In 1928, the Hedong special committee of the Communist Party of China was established here, and its secret activities lasted for ten years. Therefore, it can be called the cradle of Jinnan revolution.

Main attractions

Duiyun cave is a Taoist temple. The building began in Yuan Dynasty, and was added and expanded in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Rigorous layout, ingenious design, pavilions and attics, according to local conditions, scattered, large-scale, magnificent momentum. The existing buildings include the north pole platform, Bifeng tower, Sanhuang Pavilion, Sansheng hall, Zhenwu hall, Sanwang ancestral hall (King of medicine, king of cattle, king of horse) and Baiyi great scholar's ancestral hall. With veranda, wing rooms and Taoist courtyard, a group of magnificent Taoist buildings are formed. The existing stone carvings in the temple "the panorama of duiyun cave" vividly reflect the cave scenery of the prosperous period. Because duiyun cave is located in high terrain, deep environment and beautiful scenery, people in Qing Dynasty admire its scenery. They praise the eight sceneries of duiyun cave as follows: confluence of double streams, hidden clouds in caves, Lu pan Ceng Deng, Qiao Lin in court, rain in the East Building, evening wind in the West Hall, moon in the pen peak, and isolated tower. There is a poem: "twists and turns spiral step by step, Qingyun foot will soar. If you look back, you will see that it is 12 floors away from Qionglou. " It is listed as one of the twelve landscapes in Xiaxian county.

Duiyun cave, a collection of natural wonders, architectural wonders, Taoist culture and revolutionary cultural relics, is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province. It has great research and development value in terms of its historical significance and revolutionary traditional education significance. It is an excellent tourist attraction for "sightseeing, leisure and vacation; exploring religion, promoting culture; pursuing history and remembering heroes".

Related history

Duiyun cave is located in seclusion. During the revolutionary period, comrade Jia Kangjie founded "civilian middle school" here in 1922 to carry out revolutionary activities. In April 1929, Comrade Wang Ming, Secretary of the Shanxi provincial Party committee of the Communist Party of China, presided over the Hedong special committee meeting and decided to establish the Hedong special committee of the Communist Party of China led by Jia Kangjie. During the war of liberation, it was regarded as the leading center of the party's underground organization, organizing and leading the people of southern Shanxi to fight indomitably.

In 1928, the Hedong special committee of the Communist Party of China was established here, and Comrade Jia Kangjie established the civilian middle school.
