On the southwest side of Changbai Mountain, there is a peak with an altitude of 2543 meters. The rock is bare and the shape is like a ladder. The peak is 1.5km away from Yuzhu peak in the north, 400m from the edge of Tianchi Lake to the peak, where the ladder river waterfall flows. The top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds all the year round. Even on a sunny day, you can't see the outline of the peak clearly. It is said that this peak goes straight to the heavenly palace and is a ladder connecting the heaven and the world, so it is called Tiyun peak.
