The former site of the Luochuan meeting is the address of the enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau held by the CPC Central Committee in August 1937. It is located in Fengjia village, north of Luochuan County. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.

The former site of Luochuan conference is located in Fengjia village, Luochuan County, south of Yan'an City. From August 22 to 25, 1937, the CPC Central Committee held an enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau here, attended by 22 people, including Zhang Wentian, Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Bogu, Kaifeng, Ren Bishi, Guan Xiangying, Peng Dehuai, he long, Liu Bocheng, Zhang Hao, Nie Rongzhen, Luo Ronghuan, Xiao Jinguang, Lin Boqu, Xu Qianqian, Fu Zhong, Zhou Jianping, Zhang Wenbin, Lin Biao, Zhang Guotao, etc . The meeting passed the "decision on the current situation and the party's tasks", formulated the "ten programs for resisting Japan and saving the nation", put forward the party's programs and policies in the Anti Japanese National Revolutionary War, stipulated the party's comprehensive anti Japanese War line, and determined our army's strategic tasks and operational guidelines for carrying out a protracted Anti Japanese war behind the enemy lines. According to the agreement between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, the meeting reorganized the Red Army into the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, with Zhu De as commander in chief, Peng Dehuai as deputy commander in chief, Ye Jianying as chief of staff, and Zuo Quan as deputy chief of staff. It has jurisdiction over 115, 120 and 129 divisions, with a total of 42000 people. There are two brick kilns in the old site. One is the site of Luochuan conference and the other is Mao Zedong's bedroom and office. It has been open to the public since 1966.

On July 7, 1937, the Japanese imperialists created the Lugouqiao Incident. On August 13, the Japanese army attacked Shanghai, and the Anti Japanese war broke out in an all-round way. After many negotiations, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party finally reached a declaration of cooperation, and the Anti Japanese national united front characterized by the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party was formally formed.

From August 22 to 25, 1937, the CPC Central Committee held an enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau in Fengjia village, Luochuan County, to discuss the strategy of the Anti Japanese War and the relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. 23 people attended the meeting, including Mao Zedong, Zhang Wentian, Zhou Enlai, Bogu, Zhu De, Ren Bishi, Peng Dehuai, he long, Liu Bocheng, Nie Rongzhen and Xu Qianqian. The meeting adopted the Central Committee's decision on the current situation and the party's tasks and the ten programs for resisting Japan and saving the nation. On July 23, Mao Zedong published an article entitled "on the principles, methods and future of opposing the Japanese attack", which analyzed the two correct directions of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party's Anti Japanese war.

After the Luochuan meeting, the Red Army carried out Chairman Mao Zedong's order and reorganized into the Eighth Route Army of the national revolutionary army. At the same time, the Red Army guerrillas in 13 areas along the border of eight southern provinces were reorganized into the New Fourth Army of the national revolutionary army. Zhu De, commander-in-chief of the Eighth Route Army, Peng Dehuai, deputy commander-in-chief, Ren Bishi, director of the political department, Deng Xiaoping, deputy chief of staff and Zuo Quan, deputy chief of staff, led the troops to cross the Yellow River eastward and set out for the front line of Anti Japanese war in North China to carry out independent guerrilla warfare, which gradually became the mainstay of the Anti Japanese war. The Luochuan meeting was an important meeting in the history of the Communist Party of China. Since then, Yan'an has become the guiding center of the eight year Anti Japanese war.
