Qingdao Beer Museum

Qingdao Beer Museum is located on the beer street of Qingdao. It is the first beer museum in China.

The museum shows the development history of Tsingtao beer in the past 100 years, as well as the main production process, which is divided into two lines: line a is Tsingtao Beer Museum, which is located in the century old building of Tsingtao Brewery; line B is in Tsingtao Brewery No.2, where you can visit the advanced beer production line. During the tour, you can also drink a cup of authentic Qingdao raw beer, a cup of Qingdao draft beer, and delicious beer beans, which is very pleasant. At ordinary times, there is an endless stream of tourists here. Every summer, the Qingdao International Beer Festival is even more lively. There is a famous Tsingtao Beer street near Dengzhou road. Qingdao Beer Museum

Tsingtao Beer Museum is the only beer museum in China invested 28 million yuan by Tsingtao Beer Co., Ltd., with an exhibition area of more than 6000 square meters. The museum is located in the old workshop and equipment of Tsingtao Beer 100 years ago. Taking the 100 year history and technological process of Tsingtao beer as the main line, the museum concentrates the development history of China's beer industry and Tsingtao beer. It integrates cultural history, production process, beer entertainment, shopping and catering. It has the characteristics of knowledge, entertainment and participation of tourism, reflecting the world view It is the cultural concept of wild, national characteristics, penetrating history and integrating life.

Design concept

Tsingtao Beer Museum adheres to the principle of respecting history, excavating history, protecting history and reproducing history, and integrates professionalism, internationality, foresight, interest and harmony.

The concept plan was designed by Nielsen, the director of Jasper Beer Museum, and the interior decoration and exhibition was arranged by the designers of the Institute of environmental art, Academy of fine arts, Tsinghua University. It integrates beer culture exhibition, production line visit, beer production introduction, bar and visitor participation. It uses sound, light, electricity and other media to show the 100 year history, production equipment, beer history and beer culture of green beer with pictures, words and objects as the main body.

Tour area

The museum is divided into three visiting areas: 100 year history and culture, production technology and multi-functional area.

The core region is the first region historical and cultural region. Through graphic materials, we can learn about the origin of beer, the long history and honor of Tsingtao beer, the Qingdao International Beer Festival, and the visits of important people at home and abroad to Tsingtao beer. It shows a lot of cultural relics, pictures and materials collected from Europe and the whole country, as well as the objects of each stage of Tsingtao beer. Some historical relics donated by German and Japanese friends whose ancestors worked in Tsingtao Beer make this exhibition area more attractive.

The second area is the production process area, including old buildings, old equipment, workshop environment and production scenes. The playback equipment placed in each representative part of the production process can vividly introduce the production process and historical evolution of Tsingtao beer. In order to reproduce the original appearance of history, the museum set up a sculpture model of workers' production and labor in the old fermentation tank of the old saccharification workshop, and copied the scenes of the old laboratory and workers' malting at the same time.

The third area is multi-functional area. The first floor is a wine tasting area and shopping center that can accommodate more than 100 tourists. Tourists can enjoy a variety of fresh Tsingtao beer of different quality and buy various souvenirs here. On the second floor, there are comprehensive entertainment facilities, avant-garde design concept and high-tech means, which combine knowledge and entertainment, so that tourists can understand the complex process of beer brewing in entertainment. At the same time, the touch type automatic electronic display screen is set in many places of the museum, so that tourists can query the literature they are interested in at any time.

Qingdao beer industry tourism is divided into a and B lines. Line a is the Tsingtao Beer Museum. Relying on a century old building, it integrates ancient buildings, precious collections and modern exhibition area design. With an investment of more than 10 million yuan, it has established a special tourism corridor, so that production and visit do not affect each other.
