Li Zongren Memorial
Li Zongren memorial hall, fully known as "Li Zongren Memorial Hall of the former site of the headquarters of the fifth theater of war", is located in the east of the middle section of Beijing Road, Laohekou City.
There are 9 brick and wood buildings in the first courtyard, in which more than 300 historical materials of Li Zongren and the five war zones are displayed. During the Anti Japanese War, Li Zongren served as the commander of the fifth war zone of the Military Commission of the national revolutionary government. After commanding the Taierzhuang campaign, he moved the headquarters to Laohekou. After that, Li Zongren commanded the military and civilian Anti Japanese war in Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces for six years, leaving a number of precious historical sites and precious historical materials.
