Ge'an Pavilion is located at the ferry of Dongguo ancient ferry on the East Bank of taohuatan, Jingxian county. The pavilion is named for the sentence "suddenly hearing the sound of stepping on the shore" in Li Bai's poem "to Wang Lun".

It's very convenient to enter and leave Nanyang town. At the same time, the pavilion just faces the peach blossom lake. The water is cool, the mirror is clean, and the Dai is rippling. The strange stone "elephant trunk" stretches into the pool, and looks like an elephant absorbing water. The pond bank is the xiandun, on which is built the "huaixian Pavilion". In the entrance of the Dage bank Pavilion, it looks like a very beautiful landscape painting. When you enter the pavilion, the steps at the top reveal the turning street in front, and the curved pebble pavement of the street After finishing the steps, it will be straight and flat. The bustling Nanyang town comes into view, with two completely different views, one open and one closed, one beautiful and one prosperous, one natural and one artificial, on both sides of the dage'an Pavilion, giving people a rich feeling.

Architectural features

The layout of TA ge'an Pavilion is simple and peculiar. The bottom floor is a straight passage. In order to facilitate passers-by to rest and wait for the boat, there are long pebble benches on both sides. The facade of Xiangtan downstairs is specially made into a solid wall for the frame view, with only a semicircle in the upper part and a flat door opening in the lower part, so that passers-by can focus their attention on taohuatan. One end of the street is open to the side step, so that the higher and turning street does not appear closed. On the side of the building facing the river and the pool is a windowsill type railing, which can be used to rest and overlook; on the side facing the street, the shrine blocks the view. The steps for going upstairs are set on both sides and separated from the passage in the middle with solid walls, so they do not interfere with each other. The strangest part of the plane arrangement is that the wall of the pavilion is tilted in the upstream direction, and it is intended to cut the corners away, so that people can cast their eyes to the rainbow upstream of the jade fairy pier on the opposite bank of the river, and the scenic spots of the hidden scenic spot extend unlimitly, so that people can enjoy the essence of the natural landscape in the peach blossom pool scenery. On the other hand, a solid wall outside the pavilion stretches out four or five meters from the downstream, forming a high platform of the city wall to block people's sight away from taohuatan scenic spot and Dongyuan ancient ferry. This makes the original symmetrical shape from the plane and facade asymmetric. In taohuatan scenic spot, which is naturally curved and has different heights, this slightly asymmetric form of plane and facade is very integrated with the surrounding environment, More in line with the natural taste than the absolute symmetry of the rigorous layout!
