Aobaoshan Forest Park

Aobaoshan Forest Park was built in February 2002, covering an area of 6002 hectares. It is located in Xinfeng forest farm of Mulan Weichang state owned Forest Farm Administration Bureau. It is located at the junction of Weichang, Inner Mongolia and Longhua. It is the birthplace of Wulie River, the mother river of Chengde, a famous tourist city outside the Great Wall. In the park, there are green mountains and waters, birds singing and flowers fragrant. The forest coverage rate is as high as 92.7%. There are abundant natural species and wild flowers all over the mountains. The main peak of the park is Aobao mountain, which is divided into two peaks, North and south, with a distance of 3000m. In the middle is alpine meadow, and there is a spring in the low-lying place, which is cool and delicious. The south peak is 1853m above sea level, and the north peak is 1806m above sea level. Standing at the peak, you can see the picturesque scenery of the summer resort in the daytime and the dim lights of Chengde city at night.

The main scenic spots are: Changqing village, couple tree, dingfengyu, jinshantang, hangtag tree, Laogong tomb, daodaogou folk village, Manmeng village, Empress Dowager Liang, panjiadian folk village, birch forest, wannianbing, Aobao mountain, Qionglu fairyland, mother and son peak, wildlife park, Wulie mountain villa, cenglinjianran, Xianren Zhilu, Hui village, wild botanical garden, Luotuofeng, zhaojiawan folk village, Xiaolin village Longtan, ancient rock murals, Manchu village, shenape guanxia, Shepan yikesong, shenguishi, Longtan Huxue, etc. The park was officially opened to visitors in 2004.
