Xieger Qude temple is located in Dingri County, Shigatse area. It was built in 1385, 7 km away from Zhufeng hotel in Dingri county. It is located on xieger mount Kong (also known as Zijia mountain). It is said that before the temple was built, there was a cave on the mountain. After the construction of xieger Qude temple, the scale of construction has been continuously expanded, with more than 100 monks. All kinds of sects coexist in one temple and live in harmony. Sakya sect, Xialu sect and Gelu sect each have seven zhakang, and the temple has 15 halls. The main Buddha is Sakyamuni (9 meters high) gilded Buddha statue.

In 1645, during the reign of the fifth Dalai Lama, the temple believed in the Gelu sect. The temple successively served as 28 Khenpo. Later, it was classified as a subordinate Temple of Lhasa sera temple. It was authorized to manage the territory of Lhasa sera temple here, as an agent for rent collection and service. Qude temple was once famous for its later collection of Tibetan scriptures. The temple now has more than 100 precious cultural relics, including hand printed scriptures, sutra boards, Thangka, xieger annals, silks, Buddha statues, magic weapons and other cultural relics. It is of great value to historical research and scientific research.

In 1985, the temple was restored. There are four halls with 40 monks. They are mainly for Buddha and hold Vajra Buddha.
