Yintan is a magical and poetic pure Dong village. Yintan village is located in the north of Congjiang River, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, 650 meters above sea level. There are 397 households and 1834 people in the village.

Surrounded by green mountains and towering ancient trees, the village is surrounded by orderly paddy fields and streams, rows of dwellings, Chinese fir structure stilts, and 13 storey Drum Tower. The ethnic customs here are primitive, simple and unique, and there are many ethnic festivals, mainly including Dong year (12th-15th of the first month of the lunar calendar), June (6th of the lunar calendar), (6th-7th of the lunar calendar), guzang Festival (once every five years, which is an ancient belief type festival of the Dong nationality. It not only has the content of sacrificing ancestors, but also has the meaning of wishing harvest and strengthening unity).

Around yintanzhaizi, the ancient trees are towering, the ecological vegetation is in good condition, and the natural environment is beautiful. Taxus chinensis, a national protected tree species, can be seen everywhere. A stream passes through the village, surrounded by green mountains and charming scenery. The Diaojiaolou is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and three 13 storey drum towers stand in the village, forming a beautiful pastoral scenery.

Since ancient times, whenever the guests come to Yintan, villagers have held a unique and grand reception for them. The Lusheng team in full dress, the extraordinary blocking song team, the officials, the iron guns and so on, all kinds of contents let the guests really appreciate the hospitality of the Dong family. When the guests arrive, the Dong family will entertain them with glutinous rice, pickled meat, pickled fish, red meat and other Dong specialty dishes. At night, Dong young men and women express their love for each other with the sound of zither and song.
