Tanpu Gorge

Located in the north and west of Yuntai Mountain, tanpu gorge is a source of Zifang river. The gully is 1270m long and runs north-south. To the east of the ditch, the cliff is green and the bedrock is naked. On the west side of the ditch, Jingxiu peaks are staggering and beautiful. The peaks are arranged in a word, and the peaks are upright. In the winding groove, there is a singing and dancing stream, which is called Xiaolong stream.

In the Yuntai mountain scenery Gallery, tanpu Gorge (xiaozhaigou) is a masterpiece of nature.

It has a spring in three steps, a waterfall in five steps, and a pond in ten steps. It presents a variety of waterfalls, walking springs, colorful ponds, and mountain and stone landscapes. Therefore, it is nicknamed "pond, waterfall, and river".

Main attractions

1. When crossing Xiantan, the water is quiet, moving and pleasant. The water is clear as jade and green as jade. It is said that this pool has the function of Purgating all living beings. People can become immortals by drinking this water.

2. Lover's waterfall, a group of waterfalls fall from the high rock, the waterfall is divided into three layers, and each fault has two waterfalls that absorb and melt into a pool, such as lover's ears and temples, whispering.

3. The emerald pool is as deep as emerald.

4. The Golden Dragon lies on the waves and the silver is shining. The waterfall falling freely is called "Silver Dragon Waterfall". Waterfall under the abyss is the "golden dragon pool.".

5. Yazi waterfall is more than ten meters high, and the pool under the waterfall is five or six meters deep. It is hung on the two-story mountain steps in the shape of ya.

6. Ya waterfall pool, under Ya waterfall, there is a pool of clear water. The water is blue and wide.

7. Qingyi pool. There is a deep ditch under the water. The water in the pool is divided into three parts. Each part has different water depth, and the water color is gorgeous.

8. Water curtain cave is a natural cave. The top of the cave is a stone eaves with water grass. There is a bead curtain seven or eight meters high on the stone eaves. Beads of water, like crystal clear pearls, hang down from the top of the cave.

9. Shihu, shuilian cave, a huge stone at the entrance. It looks like a fierce tiger. It is said that it was the mount of Sun Simiao, the medicine king.

10. Jade Pool, not old spring. The water in the Jasper pool is green, clear and beautiful, just like a jasper embedded in a canyon.

There is a funnel on the stone steps on the back of the pool, in which there is undercurrent, and the water is flowing all the year round. Among them, there is an eye spring, which comes out from one meter above the ground, and spouts out. This is the spring of youth.

11. Sword testing stone. It is said that when Li Shimin, the king of Tang Dynasty, was attacking Liu Wuzhou, the descendants of the Seven Sages in the bamboo grove presented a sword to Li Shimin, named Ji Kangjian.

Li Shimin held the sword and chopped it twice at the stone. So far, there are still sword marks on the stone.

12. Longfeng lake, the water is clear, and the underwater ground is paved with cobbles.

13. Looking at the sky from a well, there is a cliff with a "U" shaped Valley at the bottom of the head, surrounded by mountains on three sides and open on one side. All around except the cliffs, there is only blue sky overhead.

14. The dragon and Phoenix wall, with mountains as the scroll and water as the ink, is a natural picture of the dragon and Phoenix.

Traffic information

Jiaozuo long distance bus station starts from Jiaozuo long distance bus station or tourist station at 7:30 every morning. The ticket price is 10 yuan per person.

Luoyang Jinyuan bus station has a bus to Yuntai Mountain at 9:00 a.m. every day, and the ticket price is 45 yuan per person.
