Tai Shi Fang

Taishifang is located in Longmei village, Leiming Town, Ding'an County. It was built in mengchun, the second year of Wanli (1574). It is a memorial of Wang Hongxu, the national historian. It is the right deputy capital of the imperial censor Yin Zhengmao, and the governor of Guangdong Province Zhang Shouyue.

The width of the open room (except column) is 2.84m, and that of the secondary room (except column) is 1.3m. The stone is 80 cm wide and 3.1 m long. A stone is erected between the top cover and the special stone, and the word "en Rong" is engraved on it. On the front of the stone, the characters "Tai Shi Fang" are engraved in regular script horizontally in the middle, and on the right side, the characters "governor of Fujian and Guangdong, governor of grain and rates, governor of Guangdong, Minister of military and vice governor of Guangdong, Yin Zhengmao, governor of Guangdong, and inspector of Guangdong, Zhang Shouyue Wei" are inscribed in regular script directly. On the left side, the characters "the 20th Jinshi in Jiajing Yichou examination", are inscribed in block script It was a good day in the winter of 1898. On the back of the forehead of the Taishi square, there is a large block printed character "jiewufang", and on the left, there is a small block printed character "Jiajing xinxike, No.1 Wang Hongjiao in Guangdong Provincial examination". There is a couplet in regular script on the opposite side of the pillar in Ming Dynasty, which is said to be written by Dong Qichang, a famous calligrapher in Ming Dynasty (Dong Qichang is Wang Hongjiao's disciple).

The architectural design of these two Ming Dynasty memorial archways is very simple and magnificent, and it can be noted that there are many typhoons in Hainan, and the inclined columns with windproof function are set before and after Sixin, which makes the memorial archways not only strong, but also beautiful.

Wang Hongyu

brief introduction

Wang Hongjiao, an Shaochuan, named Zhongming, was born in Longmei village, Leiming Town, Ding'an County in 1514 and died in 1617. He was 76 years old. After his death, the imperial court sent Dai Xi, the then deputy envoy of Hainan branch to inspect tixue, to preside over the funeral. His tomb was near jiusuoxi, Fuwen Town, Ding'an County.

In 1561, Wang Hongjiao took part in the local examination of xinxike in the 40th year of Jiajing period. He was 20 years old. Four years later, zhongyichouke was selected as a scholar of Hanlin Academy. He successively held the posts of Hanlin reviewer, editor, examiners of joint examination, Nanjing Guozijian sacrificial wine, Minister of rites in Nanjing, etc.

In the 45th year of Wanli (1617), Wang Hong died in his hometown of Ding'an, and the masses rushed to tell each other. "When the scholars and the people decline, they will strike for them." It can be seen that the villagers mourn him deeply. Wang Hongjiao wrote a lot in his life and made great achievements in literature. His works include shangyoutang manuscript, Wuyue travels, tianchicao, laihexuan, nanlizhudu, Nanming qidianlu, wenwenwentan Wan, Guochao Mingchen Lu, etc. His main works are "Wanzhuan deep", "hongzhongsiwai" and "Weiwei". His poems are fresh in style, refined in words, sincere in feelings, precise in theme, rigorous in rhyme, particular in diction, and sonorous in syllables. However, due to the limitations of history, some of his works are superficial in social intercourse, and some of them contain the dross of propaganda and superstition.
