Mengcheng museum is located in the west of Zhuangzi Avenue, east of chenniu Road, south of Renhe road and north of Yongxing Road, covering an area of 12000 square meters.

The shape of Mengcheng museum is taken from the square bottle of bronze ritual vessels and the Han que, with a construction area of 12000 square meters. It has one floor underground and four floors above the ground, with a building height of 23.6 meters. Mengcheng museum was built and opened to the public in 2014, and was rated as national AAAA scenic spot in 2017

. It is a historical and cultural museum with the theme of knowledge, popular science, education, leisure and entertainment, reflecting the history, evolution and regional culture of Mengcheng. The purpose of Mengcheng museum is to publicize the history and culture of Mengcheng County, enrich the cultural life of Mengcheng, and enrich the cultural function of Mengcheng City.

In February 2020, in order to pay homage to the benevolence of doctors and praise the great love of the world, the scenic spot will implement preferential treatment policy for all medical workers from the date of resumption of operation to December 31, 2020.

The museum is mainly divided into three exhibition sections: "the first village in the primitive world: the site of Yuchi Temple", "the charm of ancient Mongolia" and "the land of couplets".

On the second floor, the exhibition hall of weichi Temple displays a series of achievements of archaeological excavation in the language of display through the four units of ancestors' living, primitive settlement, tomb sacrifice and excavation chronicle.

The exhibition hall on the third floor is composed of six units: tracing the origin of ancient Mongolia, relics of ancient cities, historical sites, gathering of celebrities, folk customs and intangible cultural heritage.
