Mao Zedong's parents died on January 23, 1920 and October 5, 1919, respectively, and were buried on Xiangbi mountain, less than 1 km away from his former residence. On the left and right sides of the cemetery stand two pieces of white marble, engraved with Mao Zedong's "memorial to the mother" and "memorial to the mother spirit couplet", which make people feel sorry for this, as well as the noble demeanor of a generation of great people.

Human history

The cemetery of Mao Zedong's parents was only an ordinary earth grave when it was repaired. Because of this, it was not excavated. In the early morning of June 26, 1959, Mao Zedong climbed the elephant trunk mountain before entering his old home. Today, the tomb of Mao Zedong's parents, hidden deep in the tall green pines and green bamboos, is engraved with two couplets and inscriptions written by Mao Zedong.
