Shengjingshan scenic spot is located in Danan Township, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province. It is a municipal scenic spot in Wenzhou. Shengjingshan scenic spot is named after shengjingshan, a religious Holy Land in southern Zhejiang, with a long history.

The origin of Shengjing

Holy Well, it is under the altar in front of the God seat of the stone hall on the top of the mountain, "deep and wide, never dry, clean and sweet.". Its water drink, full of fragrance, smooth body, real fairy water, the world's dew. The depth of the well is wide, and the sound of gurgling water can often be heard when the sand is explored. The spring does not overflow or dry all the year round. The water level remains unchanged, and the daily flow is about 700 cubic meters. In ancient times, people often came here to pray for rain. The well water is cool and sweet. When people leave, they often bring back spring water to present to their relatives and friends. Therefore, people's reputation is passed down as "Holy Well". As time goes by, Xu Zhenjun hall, which was originally dedicated to Xu Jingyang, was also called shengjingshan stone hall, and then the whole Xufeng mountain was also called shengjingshan.

Introduction

It is composed of shengjingshan, Dananhu, Jingfu temple, kuangjingyan scenic spot and fengyekeng, with a total area of 10.8 square kilometers. Shengjingshan stone hall is the earliest, largest and well preserved stone building complex in southern Zhejiang, which is the key cultural protection unit in China. The stone hall was built in 1260, the first year of JINGDING in the Southern Song Dynasty, and the existing one was built in 1573-1908. There is a well in it, which is deep but not full of water. The water is clear and sweet, and it does not dry up all the year round. People call it "Holy Well", also known as qinglongquan well.

There are also Baochang temple and Tongji temple in the scenic area, which are full of mystery. The natural landscape is beautiful. There are Xufeng waterfall in summer, Danan reservoir in winter, tiger mountain, Eagle mountain, tiger cave, Qiaosi cave, cattle herding king and so on. The cliffs and cliffs are amazing. The mountain top is flat and broad. Sometimes there are white clouds floating. It looks like an ethereal fairyland. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can feel the smoke and fog at your feet. It's like climbing on the sky and feeling like an immortal. In addition, there are more than 10 kinds of rare animals at the foot of Shengjing mountain, such as owl, red longevity belt, cuckoo, hare, mountain monkey and mountain cat. Tourists can enjoy themselves, camping or gathering game.

Shengjing mountain is characterized by stone hall buildings, religious culture and beautiful natural landscape. It is not only a place for sightseeing and religious activities, but also a good place for summer recuperation.
