Cliff carving is a national AAAA scenic spot located in the south of Huayin county.

Mount Tianzhu

There are many stone inscriptions on the cliffs of Tianzhu Mountain. The stone inscriptions of the Eastern Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty are rare art treasures of calligraphy and stone inscriptions in China. They are also a model of the great transformation of calligraphy from official script to regular script. In 1986, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Huashan Mountain is located in the south of Huayin county. For thousands of years, there has been an endless stream of visitors. Scholars express their feelings by writing. Inscriptions are printed on the cliff, forming more than 200 large and small stone inscriptions.

Yuntaifeng was engraved in 1705, the 44th year of Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty. Dalishan Xingshu, a great general in the early Qing Dynasty, was engraved on the rock of Huashan north peak with vigorous and powerful writing. The word "Wang Meng Tai" on the stone wall of Dengdao at the foot of Huashan Mountain is also quite impressive.

The sea of clouds is a cursive script, which is carved on the Longkou rock in canglongling. The strokes are flexible and harmonious with the scene.

It is said that it was written by Chen Tuan, a Taoist in the Five Dynasties and early Song Dynasty. "Wuliguan" and "Shoushan" are also its inscriptions.

Taihua peak head: the south peak of Huashan Mountain is near yangtianchi, which is the place where the carved stones are concentrated. The running script "Taihua Fengtou" is characterized by steady and thick writing, well-organized structure, reserved verve, momentum and good carving.

Bathing in the sun and the moon is engraved on the top of Huashan Mountain. In running script, the strokes are thick and powerful, as if in stone. The structure is broad and open, and the style is elegant. The iron painting and silver hook have the beauty of combining hardness and softness.

Hongshixia, Yulin

Hongshi gorge is located about 15 kilometers northwest of Yulin, Shaanxi Province. It is a section of gorge of Yuxi River with northwest southeast strike. Beside the gorge are the tombs of Li Yichang and Li Jiqian. The site of Hongshan temple, an ancient Xixia temple, is close to mountains and rivers, with many niches. The Tianmen pass to the top of the cliff, and the dimen pass to the riverside. After many vicissitudes, the temple has been destroyed, with cliff sculptures and only remains of Tianmen tunnel. However, among the red cliffs of the temple, the calligraphy and cliff inscriptions of Ming and Qing Dynasties are still vivid. There are more than 140 cliff inscriptions in hongshixia, which are distributed on the red rock surface of nearly 1000 meters. It is a collection of books published by many calligraphers for hundreds of years. It is majestic, magical and majestic. Although most of the calligraphers are nameless historical books, their handwriting has become the human landscape of the desert, which is admired by later generations.

Xu Zongzhi's works in praise of the magnificent mountains and rivers are "natural beauty" and "competing for beauty and flow". "The sound of mountains and rivers": Liu Lun Xiang's book. "Tianwaiqifeng" and "xiongshixia": a book written by Deng Rubi in Wanli of Ming Dynasty. "Yuxi resort", "another cave" and "re resort": written in 1900. Liushapeng Island: it was written in 1872. "Hengyun": it was written in 1874. "Rivers and mountains forever": Qingguang Xutian Yuguang, Wang Shouji.

The work "rock for thousands of years", which shows the heroic spirit of the Chinese nation, was written in 1899. "Yuguan Xiongzhi": it was written in Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty. There are many inscriptions and stone inscriptions in the cliff and cave of hongshixia. Among them, there are four screens (carved by another stone) in the seal script of Wu Dazao in the Qing Dynasty, one remnant stone in Yuefei's script, one rhyme by Liu Houji in the Qing Dynasty, one rhyme by Ma Lvtai in the 10th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1805), and one five character rhyme by Huang Ding in youxiongshan temple. Wang tingchuang of Qing Dynasty's "Youxiong Shixia" (Qilu) is one of his outstanding works: "it's not easy to plug up the wonders, and six Ao's flat land is built on three mountains.
