Red smoke stone

Ziyanshi is located on the top of Xigang, Tianmen peak, opposite Sanqing mountain. It is 1568.7 meters above sea level and has a volume of more than 600 cubic meters. Up the stairs, the top is relatively flat, and there is no stone pavilion in the middle.

It has a wide view and is an excellent place to enjoy the scenery. But there are no protective facilities around. Be careful.

From the stone, you can see the Yujing peak, Longhu hall, Fengmen, Laozi guanjing peak, Xihai mountains and so on. When the sun rises in the East, the sun sets in the west, and the sun shines in the sky, the rock peaks, mist and haze are red and magnificent. According to the natural scenery here, the ancients engraved three regular script characters "ziyanshi" on the stone wall. There is another one meter high pumice stone on the purple smoke stone. It is said that Pan Gong (Thunder God) stood on this stone to wave the flag, and became the God of the town, so it is called "flag rock". There are two footprints and a flagpole hole on the stone.

Red smoke stone

Ziyanshi is located in the northwest of Sanqing blessed land in Sanqing mountain, Jiangxi Province, which is a world natural heritage. It is 1568m above sea level on the west side of Tianmen peak. It is a towering granite stone, which is the commanding height of Sanqing blessed land. The stone is 5 meters high, irregular at the top, 2-3 meters wide and 7-8 meters long. There are stone steps for climbing, on which you can have a bird's-eye view of the landscape around Sanqing blessed land.

Explanation of Ziyan's Ci

From the perspective of geomantic omen, the name of ziyanshi in Sanqing mountain is derived from geomantic omen. Explanation of Ziyan's words:

1. It is called "Purple auspicious cloud", which comes from the Taoist book "Dongzhen dadongzhen scripture": "the supreme sage of Shangqing, the king of dadaojun, covers the essence of the second morning, the purple smoke of Jiuqing, the jade glow, and the gold reflect Liuzhen". Jin GuoPu's poem of immortals has three parts: "the red pine is near the upper reaches, and the red pine is riding on the purple smoke." It's a wonderful narrative.

2. It's "purple smoke in the valley.". In the Southern Dynasty, Emperor Liang Wu's poem "visiting the great Ai Jing temple in Zhongshan" reads: "the long distance is magnificent and green, and the fragrant buildings are filled with purple smoke." Li Bai's poem "looking at Lushan waterfall water" in the Tang Dynasty (2): "the sunshine censer gives birth to purple smoke, and you can see the waterfall hanging in front of Sichuan from afar."

Ziyan is a purple auspicious cloud, which means auspicious and auspicious. Therefore, there is a folk saying that Ziqi comes to the east to symbolize auspiciousness. The ancients believed that every mountain was covered with purple air, covered with black smoke, covered with clouds and mists, with the four seasons remaining, with oily color, lush vegetation, clear flowing spring, fragrant and greasy, and bright stone. Such a place is a treasure land of geomantic omen and the best state of geographical ecology. Therefore, as a blessed land of Taoism, Sanqing naturally pays great attention to the choice of geomantic omen. With the geomantic omen of "Purple atmosphere as cover and pale smoke as float", the name of ziyanshi, a huge stone on Hutou mountain, is more profound than the name of Xianglu stone.

Stories and legends

Ziyan stone was originally called Xianglu stone. It is said that Ge Hong and Li Shangshu of Jin Dynasty set up a cast iron furnace on this stone when they went to Jielu of Sanqing mountain to make pills. Lu Qiyuan's travel to Sanqing Mountain recorded: "you can see Yayan mountain on the censer stone, shixianjun and Xianren bridge. The iron furnace is like a stone, which is also cast by the book of history. " Now, in the middle of the top of ziyanshi, there are still four holes drilled for the placement of iron furnace feet. When the Taoist architecture of Sanqingshan was rebuilt in the reign of Jingtai and Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty, the stone was listed as a symbol of congenital eight trigrams and Gen trigrams. The word "ziyanshi" was engraved on the waist of the stone. Since then, the stone has been called "ziyanshi".

On top of the stone, there is a 1-meter-high suspended stone, which stands precariously on the south side of the stone. According to folklore, after the founding of Sanqing mountain, pan Yishuai and Wang Lingguan fought for the position of mountain god of Sanqing mountain by waving the flag in the blessed land of Sanqing. Pan Yishuai climbed the pumice stone first and defeated Wang Lingguan. Pan Gong won and won the position of mountain god of Sanqing mountain town. Today, two footprints and a flagpole hole are still clearly visible on the flag rock.
