Towards the Qiuyuan

In the Qin and Han Dynasties, the lake was named Donghaizi and xihaizi. Donghaizi is located in ganhai village, Chuankou Township, northwest of Pengyang County. Today, the lake is leaking, and the local people call it "Ganhaizi"; xihaizi is located in Haizi gorge, 20km southwest of Guyuan County.

Xihaizi has unique and beautiful scenery, surrounded by mountains and shaped like a palm. Now it has been turned into Guyuan scenic spot.

Haizi water gushes out from the two caves between the mountain gaps. The local people call it dongxilongkou. For a long time, it has become a pool and a sea. In the depth of the mountains, there is a pool of spring water. In the Qing Dynasty, xihaizi was listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Guyuan, known as "xihaichunbo". After the founding of the people's Republic of China, in order to solve the problem of farmland irrigation and water use in Guyuan County, two reservoirs have been built here. The water surface of the reservoir area is about 1000 Kediao.

The green grass on the Bank of Haizi is like brocade. The setting sun slants to the West and looks far away at the Qiuyuan. The water waves ripple with the wind, making a little bit of sparkling light and colorful. The north mountain is gentle, and the herdsmen drive cattle and sheep on the hillside, just like pearls. Looking from the west to the East, there are mountains connected, forming a natural barrier. Overlooking the lake, some are green, some are dark blue, the scenery of lakes and mountains, blue sky and white clouds are superb, which makes people feel relaxed and happy; Nanshan is a good place for summer tourism because of its steep peak and lush vegetation.
