Aung La thousand family house

Angla thousand family house is located in jianbaang village, Angla Township, Jianzha County, Qinghai Province. The house of Aung La thousand households was built in 1949. It was originally the house of Aung La thousand households living in Jianzha area. According to historical records, Aung lah Qianhu was a descendant of chirebajian of the Tufan Dynasty. In order to guard the border and levy taxes, gongyesidajie, the Minister of chirebajian of the Tufan Dynasty, came to live in this area in 492 AD and became the leader of Jianzha on both sides of the Strait. In 1657, during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, one of his descendants, zuduojie, was granted the title of anglaqianhu. Xiang Qian was the seventh generation of Qianhu, and this courtyard was built after Xiang Qian succeeded to the throne. It has a history of 51 years. At present, it is one of the well preserved Tibetan style courtyard in many old houses in our province. The building style of the villa is unique, and it is completely made of wood structure. The first entrance is a two-story building with seven rooms in width and two rooms in depth. The front of the second entrance is a main building with single-layer brick and wood structure on the top of the mountain. The front is five rooms in width and three rooms in depth. The west side is a wing room with flat roof civil structure. There is a small corner courtyard on both sides of the front, which is a Buddhist hall.

The gate is made of brick and wood with a gate tower. There are more than 200 houses in front of the brick wall. The overall design is exquisite, and the workmanship is meticulous. It was used by the garrison during the liberation of Aung la. Some of the carvings and decorations were damaged. During the cultural revolution, it was seriously damaged. But the general structure of Zhuangyuan is well protected. In 1998, it was taken as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by Qinghai Provincial People's government.
