Zuixianhu (Hongmen Reservoir) is the third largest reservoir in Jiangxi Province. It is located 16 kilometers to the east of Nancheng County, covering an area of more than 40 square kilometers, with a total reservoir capacity of 1.2 billion cubic meters. There are more than 1000 islands in the lake, with nearly 10000 mu of Danxia landform, lush trees, water birds flying and beautiful scenery.

General situation of Zuixian Lake

The lake area was once the seat of Nancheng County in the Western Han Dynasty, and "zuixianyan" is the main scenic spot in the area. It is said that there were immortals drunk here in ancient times, so it got its name. Nearby are the tombs of Yifan king of Ming Dynasty and the birthplace of Hongmen Gang, which are provincial cultural relics protection areas.

Introduction to zuixianhu

Zuixian lake, located in Nancheng County, Jiangxi Province, is a beautiful lake in a completely natural state. There is a mysterious cave by the lake, which is unfathomable. In order to protect the clear water of the lake, Nancheng county government adopted afforestation and strict anti pollution measures in the lake area. Since October last year, Nancheng county has participated in the construction of "one large and four small" afforestation projects (the "one large" is to ensure that the forest coverage rate of the whole province will reach 63% by 2010; "four small" is the greening of the county and municipal government, the greening of the township government, the greening of rural natural villages, and the greening of infrastructure, industrial parks and mine bare land), with a total investment of about 100000 people 41 million yuan.

Home of species

There is a Danxia Mountain in the middle of Zuixian lake. There is a cave in the hillside, which is Zuixian rock. It's just one of the stories that immortals get drunk here. Zuixianyan is also the rock of Buddhism and Taoism. It can spit out money and is the God of wealth. Ordinary people can get rich from it. There is a popular saying that "Liu Hai plays with the Golden Toad, fishing for money step by step". Liu Hai was one of the Eight Immortals in the biography of lie Xian Quan Zhuan of Ming Dynasty. In the biography of the origin of eight immortals to the East, Liu Hai was replaced by Zhang Guo. Liu Hai, born in the Five Dynasties, was the Prime Minister of yanwang. The eight immortals are divided into "upper Eight Immortals", "middle Eight Immortals" and "lower Eight Immortals". Just when it was hard to separate, a colorful auspicious cloud opened from the middle: "don't be angry, you two immortals. I have something to say..." As soon as I fixed my eyes, it was Madame Magu who came from that mountain. The two immortals clasped their fists and immediately saluted: "it's the host who arrived. It's impolite!" Magu said, "I don't know if you are going to the fairy lake. I'm afraid I'm going to meet you at a distance." When Magu asked why the two immortals were fighting, she said with a chuckle, "in terms of experience, you are all my younger generation; in terms of appearance, I am your younger generation. What can we do? " When Zhang and Liu Erxian were asked, they were stunned. Magu continued, "meritorious service is God, and no desire is immortal. It seems that you and others are fighting for fame and wealth, which will affect people's lives. How can you bear it? Don't people laugh at us for cheating on others? " After hearing this, Zhang and Liu were shamed and said in a humble voice: "they are all rude, laughing and generous." After that, put away your weapons. Magu took the opportunity to invite the two immortals to visit Danxia (Magu) mountain, and wrote a poem: as a guest, you can come to my home, where are the immortals? The world still sings harmony, and a pot of good wine gathers Danxia.

The Jinchan peak in zuixianhu is the three legged toad that Liu Hai lost when fighting with Zhang Guo. It stands in the middle of the blue water day and night to attract wealth for the people along the lake. So far, Liu Hai does not know where his beloved Golden Toad has lost.
