Zijiang scenic belt

Zijiang is the mother river of Xinshao. The main stream runs through the whole territory from south to north, passing through the county and five towns, including Niangxi, xintianpu, Yantang, Daxin and Pingshang, with a flow of 54.5 km. Zijiang is known as the "small Three Gorges" in the territory. The mountains along the river stand up, with cliffs, dangerous rocks, strange peaks and rocks, various forms, rapids and dangerous beaches, which are soul stirring. Zijiang River originates from Ziyuan County of Guangxi, and has the same origin with Lishui river. It is famous for "Qing Dynasty".

Main attractions

From Lengshuijiang City to Xinhua County boundary, also known as Zhuyu River, is the mother river of ancient Meishan culture. Zishui runs through the central part of the county, and divides the whole county into northeast and southwest parts. It flows through nine towns, including shichongkou, Sangzi, Shangmei, Youjia, caojia, Youxi, Baixi, Langtang and ronghua. The river section is 91 km long, with a drop of 26 meters and many beaches. The main tributaries of Zishui are Dayang River, Youxi River, Zhuxi River, Meixi River and Qujiang River. The rainfall collection area is 3112.5 square kilometers, the average water level for many years is 153.95 meters, the highest water level is 175.44 meters, and the lowest water level is 155.79 meters.

Along the way, scenic spots such as saishuangqing, jiangjunshi, Hujiang stone forest, Shimen xiancui, qingxitan, Tongzhu beach, shuidongyan, yanyingshi, jinhou Yingke, seal out of the river, serpentine mountain and Luotuofeng are like scattered pearls, which are strung together by the beautiful Zijiang River and complement each other. They are of great tourist value. In particular, with the completion of Xiaoxi power station and Shaigutan power station on the main stream of Zijiang River, Zijiang water will rise 8 meters, and the water flow will become wide and stable. The spectacular sight of "high gorge out of Pinghu" will become a beautiful scenery in Xinshao, and also provide unlimited opportunities for the development of Zijiang tourism.
