Yushan Lighthouse
Yushan lighthouse is a national first-class lighthouse in the east of China. It is located in Yushan archipelago, 25 nautical miles southeast of Shipu Town, Xiangshan County, and on the top of beiyushan mountain. It was built in 1895.

It is located in Yushan archipelago, 25 nautical miles southeast of Shipu Town, Xiangshan County, and on the top of beiyushan mountain. It was built in 1895. The body of the tower is in the shape of a round platform, cast by pig iron. The original tower mirror machine was made by French "Barbier" company, with a maximum range of 25 nautical miles. It was known as the largest lighthouse in the Far East. In 1944, the lighthouse was destroyed in the war. In 1947, the customs sent officers to repair the lighthouse. In 1955, the top of the lighthouse and the lighthouse were destroyed when the Kuomintang retreated. In 1987, Shanghai Waterway Bureau and Wenzhou navigation mark area organized and implemented the lighthouse top repair and lamp replacement project. It will be completed on July 1 of the following year. Yushan lighthouse is shining again.
