On November 8, 2011, China's first certificate for the use right of uninhabited islands was settled in danmenshan Island, Xiangshan County. Huang Yimin, chairman of Ningbo Longgang Industrial Co., Ltd., took over the Certificate No. "11001" issued by the State Oceanic Administration.

Danmenshan island has been developed and utilized since 2001. When Huang Yimin took over the island, he had paid tens of thousands of yuan to the original developer and related villages and towns.
