Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall is located in the center of Shiqi City, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. It was built with a donation of HK $10 million from Mr. Guo Desheng. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall is located in the park of Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall in Shiqi District, Zhongshan City, covering an area of 8400 square meters and a building area of 15000 square meters. The construction started in February 1982 and was completed in October 1983. It was built with a donation of HK $10 million from a well-known person in Hong Kong, Guo Desheng.

Above the entrance of the memorial hall is inlaid with a gold plaque inscribed by Liao Chengzhi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. On the wall of a small hall on the upper middle floor of the building, there is a gold plaque with Sun Yat Sen's handwriting "the world is for the public". At the top of the three pavilions, there are three large golden glass beads, symbolizing the "new three principles of the people" founded by Dr. Sun Yat Sen. In 1985, it was named "Renshan Yuyu". "Renshan" used to be a small hill, but now it is the address of the memorial hall, and it expresses admiration for Sun Yat Sen's benevolence; the word "Yuyu" not only describes the magnificent building of the memorial hall, but also embodies Sun Yat Sen's lofty quality and great revolutionary spirit.

Design style

The design of the memorial hall is full of new ideas. From a bird's-eye view, it becomes a "middle" character, while from the ground, it becomes a "mountain" character. The whole building has a strong national style and is full of the characteristics of the times. Comrade Liao Chengzhi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, personally inscribed the plaque "Zhongshan Memorial Hall" with five powerful characters. The memorial hall is a compound structure composed of front, middle and back. The front is a three storey building. The first floor is a hall. In the middle of the hall is a statue of Sun Yat Sen carved with white marble. On both sides are the exhibition hall of the achievements of Sun Yat Sen's Construction. On both sides of the second floor are the exhibition hall of Sun Yat Sen's revolutionary history. On the third floor are three Pavilion top structures arranged in the shape of "mountain". The big octagonal pavilion in the middle is a pavilion It is a VIP room with a capacity of more than 100 people. The small quadrangle pavilions on both sides are VIP lounges. The middle seat of the memorial hall is a large modern movie theater with central air conditioning system and 1484 seats. The stage is rotatable, and the music pool is lifted and lowered in three levels. Thirty nine electric suspenders are installed on the stage, and forty condenser microphones and voice controlled lighting equipment are installed in the field. The back seat of the memorial hall is divided into two floors, both of which are actor dressing rooms. On both sides of the memorial hall are winding corridors and gardens. In front of the memorial hall is a park with shops and parking lots.

Sun Wen Memorial Park

Located at the south end of Xingzhong road in Zhongshan City, covering an area of 358179 square meters, it was built in memory of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the great pioneer of democratic revolution. Different from other tourist attractions, the park does not have tickets, so visitors can visit the park free of charge. It is mainly reconstructed from two gentle hillsides and divided into two different functional areas: Revolutionary Memorial area and comprehensive tourist area. The theme of the revolutionary memorial area is to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat Sen, with a bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, fountain, pine garden, bamboo garden, plum garden and Longbai mountain planted with 999 Longbai trees. Far away from the revolutionary memorial area is the comprehensive tourist area, which has "Xiangshan", "feilaishi", "yixiantian", "Shuiliandong", "guanjingge", "yingyangshi" and other scenic spots. The whole park focuses on the theme of "Commemoration", and the layout of scenic spots is closely arranged around the theme.

Sun yat-sen's former residence

Located in Cuiheng village, it was designed and built by Sun Yat Sen himself. In 1986, it was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.

Xingzhong brocade

Located in the North-South central axis of Zhongshan City, Xingzhong Road, north to the Municipal People's Congress and CPPCC building, South to Sunwen Memorial Park. The road is full of flowers and trees.
