Former site of Dai Li residence

Dai Li's residence was the residence and office of Dai Li, an important figure of the Kuomintang and leader of the military unification in the period of accompanying capital. Before liberation, it was famous. Not far to the left was the Zhou residence, and not far to the right was the Gui Garden. Dai Li's residence is built under a ladder beside the street. The ground floor sinks and the second floor is level with the street. The house is still a typical architectural style of the Republic of China with the combination of Chinese and western, brick and wood structure, built against the Jialing River. Now it's transformed into Bayu Cultural Association. You can visit it when there are painting exhibitions. From time to time, there will be lectures or cultural exchange meetings.
