Song cunan

Songcun nunnery is located at the foot of Nanshanling, one kilometer to the north of Houmen Town, Shenshan district. It is a dilapidated temple with two rooms and three rooms in the shade. There are two characters "Songcun" written on the forehead of the temple. One of the eight scenic spots in Shenshan District

brief introduction

The word "Song Cun" on the forehead of the gate means that "the country will always be there, and the Song Dynasty will last forever". This is why song cunan got his name.

There are still two couplets on the remnant wall, one is: "wind and rain are hard to grind the king's words; monarchs and ministers still enjoy the mountains of Song Dynasty." One for: "a night to leave traces; three words to send pedestrians." The handwriting is strong and elegant, and the meaning is meaningful and magnificent.

At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Emperor min fled to the South and came to Nanshanling. At that time, it was already late, and the factory was in the twilight. A group of horses had to stay for a night under Banling rock. In the middle of the night, the mountains were shaking. Emperor min of the Song Dynasty thought that the rivers and mountains of the Southern Song Dynasty had collapsed. He could not help crying. Lu Xiufu knew about the earthquake, so he asked the emperor to write "Zhuang Di Ju" on the cliff. When Song Di min finished writing, the earthquake passed and everything calmed down.

Later, officials of the Ming Dynasty came here to pay homage to the historic site. After learning about the past, they inscribed "Zhuang emperor's residence" on the cliff.

In the 27th year of Qianlong (1762 A.D.), the people of Houmen town raised money to build a temple with the stone carving as the center, and named it "song cunan".

Folklore

It is said that at the end of the Song Dynasty, song duanzong and his younger brother were defeated and fled to the south. They spent a night under the rocks. That night, when the earthquake happened and the mountains were shaking, Lu Xiufu, the minister beside him, played the three words "Zhuang Di Ju" written by the emperor on the cliff, so that he could sleep peacefully.

The Ming Dynasty official Pu Jian Chuan Yonglan came here to pay homage to the historic site. When he learned of the past, he engraved three big characters "Zhuang Di Ju" on the cliff. Next to them, there was an inscription with a diameter of 0.9 x 1 (m). It was written in a straight script and engraved in a bold and beautiful style.

In the 27th year of Qianlong (1762) of the Qing Dynasty, the people of Houmen town raised money and built this nunnery with this stone carving as the center. At present, the stone carving is located on the inclined cliff in the middle of the back hall of song cun'an. Knowing this historical fact, it is not difficult to understand the conjunctions. Therefore, many scholars and celebrities wrote couplets and poems when they came here, and many of them were excellent.

At the end of the Song Dynasty, the emperor also left a legend with magical color here. It's said that the little green baby screamed that night, and the peanut growled. The emperor twisted a straw and put it on the little frog. Now the little frog here has a yellow green vertical pattern, which is very beautiful. The emperor also told them not to grow at night, so they closed their leaves at night.
