The small village at the foot of the mountain is very similar to the place where the aristocrats live in martial arts novels. Slightly different from other ancient villages in Conghua, the buildings in Fenghuang Guwei are closer to Hakka Guwei, which is probably the origin of its name "Fenghuang Guwei". If you look down from a high place, you can see that the houses in the village are arranged in a very regular way, in horizontal and vertical rows, in good order, surrounded by buildings or walls, and the plane is square, showing the complete Hakka village style. Most of the houses in the enclosure are unit houses, which are of bucket Gallery type or "Daqitou" (one hall and one room). Because there are three surnames in the village, there are ancestral hall, Heping and pond at the gate, which are different from guangshiwei village. There are three surnames in the village, so there are three ancestral temples standing side by side. Although we can see ancestral temples of different sizes, it is said that the villagers of the three surnames get along very well, which is very rare in other villages.
