Historical evolution
Initial construction
The mosque was built in the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu. It is said that at that time, the villagers paid homage to Yang Jichuan, the Minister of Inner Mongolia of tuoming Dynasty, and bought more than 10000 glazed tiles from Beijing to build the main hall with three bright tiles and nine dark tiles. There was a Baoxia in the front and a kiln hall in the back, with flying eaves, flowing Dan, carved beams and painted columns, which was very solemn.
Renovation and reconstruction
After the completion of the mosque, Yang Jichuan learned about Empress Dowager Cixi. Empress Dowager Cixi personally wrote a plaque for "aomiaopuci". In 1982, when the Hui people in the village raised money to rebuild the temple, the plaque was hung on the gate of the main hall, restoring the former majestic appearance of the ancient temple.
