Seven master Temple

"Seven masters" in Xitang, Jiaxing, is the biggest patron saint of his hometown in the eyes of Xitang people. He was not an immortal, but a good official in the past: the seventh Lord, whose surname was Jin, was the seventh in his family. Once he was carrying grain through Xitang, when the drought was severe in the suburbs of the town, and there were no harvests. There were starving people on the road, and the situation was very miserable. As a result, there are many survivors. When Jin Jieliang arrived in Beijing, the imperial court investigated the matter, and Jin died for the law. The people felt his kindness and built this temple to commemorate it. Gold ranks seventh, so people call it the seventh master. Qilaoye temple, also known as the king of grain temple, is located near yantawan. The temple of seven masters is still full of incense today. The new front hall opens the street door to the outside. People from the countryside or from other places can go directly to the temple door by boat. On the lintel of the gate, there are six big characters: "protect the country with the grain King Temple", which is the handwriting of the town calligrapher Jiang Weiyun. The front hall is high and cool. It is now used as the hall. Inside is a patio with a candlestick for people to burn incense. There is a large cast iron censer 2.5 meters high in the middle of Tianjing, which is written with the words "protect the country with the grain king". Although the censer is rough, it is very solemn. It is donated by good men and women. The back hall is an old building left behind, which is still in good condition after being repaired by the people of the ancient town. Its architecture is very special, there are eaves in front of the hall, stringers and rafters are very exquisite and arched. On the threshold of the hall is a row of wooden floor long windows, which are the decorations of ordinary temples. Across the threshold, looking up above is still a very orderly arrangement of eaves stringers. In fact, these are all part of the main hall. The eaves and porches in this hall are very exquisite. They are very similar to the main hall of an official family. The tiles on them are of first-class quality, and each piece is polished, smooth and tidy. This architectural style is rarely seen in ordinary temples.
